The tragic death of two-year-old Julian Boone in June has prompted the city of Brandon to encourage drivers to watch their speed.
Boone was hit and killed by an SUV after darting out in traffic near Princess Park.
Soon after the incident, the city implemented additional signage during special events at Princess Park.
The signs have been in use for over and month. Parents, visiting the park, say that they hope it will help prevent another tragedy.
No charges were laid against the driver in the toddler’s death.
