Winnipeg police have arrested two men for disguising with intent. One of them is also charged with pointing a firearm.

Police say two women were sitting in the car in the 200 block of Regal Avenue, waiting to pick up a family member, when two disguised suspects approached the car around 10 p.m. on Saturday.

The suspects tapped on the window. One of them pointed a bb gun at the window.

The driver sped off at the sight of the gun and police were notified.

Winnipeg police, along with the members of the canine and tactical support team responded.

Two suspects were located hiding in a field nearby.

Both Franco Chartrand, 25, and Moses Swan, 19, face charges of disguise with intent. Chartrand also faces a charge of pointing a firearm and other firearms-related charges.
