Two suspects face charges for an alleged bank robbery on Corydon Avenue on Tuesday, said police.

Around 3:30 p.m., a male suspect and a female suspect went into a bank in the 1100 block of Corydon Avenue. The male suspect produced a note to a teller which said he was armed and demanded cash, said police.

The suspects took the cash and fled in a vehicle. Police spotted the vehicle and pulled it over, but the male suspect then fled on foot.

Officers chased after and arrested him.

Daniel Roy, 23, of Winnipeg faces multiple charges for robbery with a weapon, wearing a disguise and failing to comply with conditions of a recognizance.
