A 22-year old man is in police custody after a shooting in Selkirk this morning.
RCMP were called to a home in Selkirk just before 3 a.m. They found a 53-year old man suffering from a gun shot wound.
The victim was taken to the Selkirk Hospital and later moved to the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre.
The two men are known to each other and as a result the shooting suspect was located and arrested a short time late.
Police say the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
The incident is under investigation
