Volunteers are gathering Saturday to hang new Thelma Krull posters in the hopes of raising awareness about the missing grandmother’s case.

The harsh winter damaged many of the signs initially put up in the search for Krull eight months ago.

Volunteers plan to meet at the Plessis Road Tim Hortons at 10 a.m. to put up posters around the area where Krull went missing last July.

Krull was last seen on surveillance video July 11, 2015, out for a morning walk in the Harbourview South area. Her glasses were found three days later on Kimberly Hill in the Valley Gardens area.

Krull turned 58 years old on March 9, 2016.

The new poster reminds searchers not to pick up any found items which may belong to Krull.

Volunteers are asked to show up with packing tape, weather-appropriate footwear, and to bring hope.

Tips or information related to the Krull investigation should be directed to the Winnipeg police missing persons unit at 204 986 6250.
