Winnipeggers faced more water main breaks Monday.

Polo Park had to close an hour early Monday night after a  water main break on Empress Street disrupted several other businesses in the area.

By 11 p.m. Monday, Polo Park said water was back on, and normal hours resumed on Tuesday.

The Pancake House also closed early Monday due to the lack of water. The Clarion Hotel reported water loss due to the break, but was able to restore water Monday night by tapping into a second water main.

Drivers also had to plow through deep water along Wall Street near Ellice Avenue. The break flooded several blocks along Wall.

Several water main breaks, including on Tache Avenue, Assiniboine Avenue, Route 90 and Selkirk Avenue, caused problems for residents, businesses and drivers in the past week in Winnipeg.
