Route 90 was closed southbound at Egesz Street and Selkirk was closed westbound at Bentley Street due to a water main break Tuesday morning.

City crews were working at the scene where water had been spilling since about 2 a.m.

Water was reported to be at least a foot deep on Keewatin Street southbound on the approach to Selkirk Avenue.

The water was so widespread it was spilling over into the northbound lanes at the intersection.

The water was beginning to freeze and there were reports of vehicles becoming stuck in the ice.
