Twelve people killed in a Nunavut jet crash one year ago will be honoured Monday, including a Winnipeg man.

Marty Bergmann, a federal scientist, was one of the victims when the plane crashed in Resolute on Aug. 20, 2011.

Families of the victims will gather on tundra where the jet went down.

The one-thousand employees of airline First Air said they will observe a moment of silence at 11:42 a.m., the time at which the plane struck the hillside.
