Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help finding a man who exposed himself to two young children Wednesday.

Around 5 p.m. an 11-year-old girl and an eight-year-old girl were playing in a park near Chalmers Avenue when a man drove up to them in a dark blue car, police said. The man then exposed himself, and the girls ran to their parents.

Police said there was no contact made between the man and the girls, and the girls were not injured.

Officers searched the area but turned up nothing. Now police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man.

The man is white, late 30s with grey and brown curly hair and a scruffy brown beard. He was wearing round prescription glasses and a striped button-up shirt. He was driving a dark blue four-door car with rear tinted windows and no front license plate.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 986-2857 or Crime Stoppers at 786-8477.
