Police are investigating an overnight convenience store robbery in the city’s North End.
At about 2:30 a.m. a lone female entered the store in the 700 block of Mountain Ave. brandishing a knife, police said.
She made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
Neither of the two employees working were injured.
The suspect remains at large. Police describe her as 20 to 30 years of age, 5’4”, with a heavy build, braided long, dark hair and wearing a white jacket.
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
