A stabbing on Sunday has led to officers laying charges against two suspects.

Around 9 p.m. on March 15, officers and emergency crews responded to the 300 block of Blake Street in Winnipeg in the Weston neighbourhood.

A 24-year-old man and a 33-year-old man went to hospital in critical condition and were later upgraded to stable.

A woman was arrested at the scene.

The major crimes unit continued investigating.

People had been socializing when two men got into an argument.

The female suspect armed herself with a weapon and “partnered with one of the males and the two then proceeded to stab the 24-year-old male. During the altercation the female also stabbed the second male,” said police.

Skyrose Marie Jawbone, 33, and Bradley Elliot Wayne Chartrand, 33, both of Winnipeg face charges, including for aggravated assault and failing to comply with conditions of a recognizance.
