Two women and a teen aged girl were inside a home that was the target of an early morning shooting in North Point Douglas.

Winnipeg police say shots were fired at a home on the 100 block of Lorne Avenue at around 4:15 a.m.

An 18-year-old woman and a 28-year-old woman were inside with a 15-year-old girl.

The gun blast damaged the front door, and a pellet hit the 28-year-old girl in the lower body, although she did not require medical attention.

Police are now looking for two suspects.

One is described as an aboriginal male in his teens, wearing dark clothing and a black baseball cap.

The second suspect is also an aboriginal male in his teens, wearing a black waist-length jacket, a white jersey underneath with red, white and black stripes on both sides with the number "0" on the front.

He was also wearing dark shorts and a hat.
