Year-end financials are coming in at city hall. The city is projecting a $16.3 million surplus.
Part of the gains are attributed to photo radar revenue and a delay in the police service moving into its new headquarters.
The news isn’t all good.
The public works department is requesting an over-expenditure of $4.6 million. A report says two snowfalls and mild temperatures in December required extra snow and ice removal.
