One person is dead following a head-on collision on Highway 3 Wednesday.
Carman RCMP were called to a crash on Highway 3 near Sperling, Manitoba around 9 p.m. Wednesday. STARS Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the accident.
Officers say a southbound van collided head-on with another van in the northbound lane.
A 26-year-old woman from Lac Du Bonnet driving the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The adult male driver of the northbound vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Another young male passenger was also sent to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
RCMP is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash
