RCMP seized more than 2000 marijuana plants from a home in a rural area south of Steinbach Friday morning. They arrested four men who will appear in court Monday.
Officials say they made the bust after a lengthy investigation into the grow-op.
They raided the house at about 10:30 a.m. Friday. They seized the marijuana plants along with $13,000 cash. The plants have an estimated street value of more than $2 million.
Police have charged Liang Xie, 26, Bing Cao, 59, Wai Wong, 23, and Min Shen, 38, with marijuana production and other drug offences.
The men are in custody and will appear in a Winnipeg court Monday.
