The manager of the restaurant where Derek Harvey-Zenk was drinking hours before he crashed into Crystal Taman's car, says he did not tell a waitress to lie to police about how much Zenk had been drinking.

Rodrigo Bravo took the stand at the Taman Inquiry Thursday. He called his former waitress a liar for telling the inquiry she fudged details about that night on his orders.

On Wednesday the waitress, Chelsea O'Halloran, said Bravo told her to "play dumb," because he wanted to protect the restaurant and the officers who came in that night.

Bravo did admit that two of the officers Derek Harvey-Zenk was drinking with had been in his wedding party.

The inquiry had earlier learned that their detachment often visited Bravo's restaurant.

Bravo also testified that the restaurant kept records of the officers' bar tabs that night; but he says he didn't give it to investigators because they never asked.
