The Winnipeg Police Service is providing more details about the investigation into the death of a 24-year-old Winnipeg man earlier this month.

On Oct. 14, officers found a man on a sidewalk in the 300 block of Keenleyside Street around 11:20 p.m.

He was taken to hospital and later died.

The man has been identified as Joseph Robert Campbell. The homicide unit is investigating his death.

Investigators say there were three males seen in the area when Campbell was killed and they are considered, "persons of interest."

If anyone has information about that night or the identity of the three persons of interest, they are asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
