Bombers fans at Canad Inns Stadium will have a new way to quench their thirst during games. Ten coolers have been set up throughout the stadium to provide fans with free, purified water. Fans can use cups provided by the stadium or fill up their own water bottles.

Fan Jill Bristow said she was happy with the change. “It’s better than having to pay $4 for a bottle, so I brought my bottle (to fill up),” Bristow said.

The coolers came after a change to club policy that banned outside food and drinks in the stadium. The policy was put in place to prevent people from sneaking alcohol into the stadium, officials said.
