Two men have been charged after three teen girls were lured and sexually assaulted dating back to the start of the year.

According to police, a teen girl was contacted by a 32-year-old man in January, who arranged for them to meet. He then allegedly drove her to a home in the city, where she was sexually assaulted.

The teen met with the same man and a 30-year-old male on Jan. 9. Police said she was brought to a hotel in the 1900 block of Portage Avenue and sexually assaulted by the two men.

In May, the 30-year-old man went to police headquarters and turned himself in. He has been identified as Ousama Alkhattab, and has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

On Aug. 28, police allege the 32-year-old man met with two teenagers, one of whom he befriended on social media, and drove them downtown. Police said the two teens were sexually assaulted by two men who haven’t been identified. The assaults were reported to police.

The 32-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 12 in the 400 block of Nathaniel Street.

Abdelraheem Khatab has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and sexual interference, along with luring a person under 16 and giving alcohol to a minor.

Khatab and Alkhattab have both been released with a court order prohibiting contact with people under the age of 18. None of the charges against them have been proven in court.

The sex crimes unit continues to investigate.
