Two Winnipeg schools closed Monday due to threats

Threats have forced the closure of two Winnipeg schools on Monday.

According to a social media post by Pembina Trails School Division, the bomb threat for Oak Park School was made Sunday evening.

The Winnipeg Police Service was called immediately and dispatched to the school.

Oak Park will be closed on Monday while the investigation takes place. Students should check their teacher’s Edsby sites for learning updates.

The Winnipeg School Division is also reporting that Elmwood High School is closed Monday due to a threat against the school.
