Colleen Bready
Colleen joined the CTV News Winnipeg team in August, 2011. She is the Weather Specialist for CTV News at Noon, 5, and 6 and hosts the arts and entertainment segment, “Spotlight.”
Colleen started her career in broadcast journalism in radio at 680 CJOB in 2005. She presented news and sportscasts, then became a general assignment reporter with a focus on crime and city hall. She was also a backup traffic reporter on four wheels and in the traffic helicopter.
In 2008, she made the jump to television news reporting. By 2009, she reported for both radio and television. She covered a wide range of topics: politics, crime, courts, health and human interest stories. She also presented radio newscasts. By 2010, she also filled in as a weather anchor.
Colleen was born and raised in Winnipeg. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) degree with a major in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba.
