Leah Hextall joined the CTV News Sports team in 2005.  The gift of the gab, along with a life long love of sport led to Leah's endeavor into sports broadcasting.

Leah has been happy to pop up on TSN's Sportscentre, and with the launch of her show, “Amateur Hour” on Sports Radio 1290 last year, Leah became one of the first women in the country to have her own sports radio show.

While away from the microphone, Leah is a fan and supporter of the Special Olympics, which enriches the lives of Manitoba's living with an intellectual disability; she is proud to be involved with the Winnipeg Wine Festival, which benefits the organization.

A long-time supporter and participant in amateur sport, Leah's career highlights include covering 3 Canada Games and the 2012 Memorial Cup in Brandon.
