The Assiniboine Park Conservancy announced it will stop its Super Tuesday zoo event in favour of existing discount promotions.
The conservancy announced the change in a post on its Facebook page.
“In an effort to expand our accessibility efforts even further, the Assiniboine Park Conservancy has and will continue to offer subsidized admissions to eligible groups through various grant programs,” the post reads.
Super Tuesdays was an event offering discounted zoo admission on the first Tuesday of every month.
The Conservancy said existing promotions will continue to offer similar discounts.
“APC will also be working directly with United Way of Winnipeg to distribute complimentary Zoo passes to supported community agencies to remove financial barriers for those who need it most,” the post said.
