RCMP haven't made an arrest in the murder of a 23-year-old man whose body was found near Birds Hill Park. Now police are asking for your help.
A cyclist found the body of Anthony Dwayne Prince in a wooded area near Lorne Hill Road and Hazelridge Road in late April.
RCMP have not said how Price was killed, but they considered his death a homicide.
He was in prison for his role in the robbery of the Lucky Dollar Food Store on Selkirk Avenue in July, 2003.
The 41-year-old store clerk was shot in the shoulder.
The Winnipeg RCMP Serious Crime Unit is now asking anyone who knows what Prince was doing, or anyone who may have been in contact with Prince between April 24, 2008 and April 28, to contact the RCMP Tip Line at 204-984-6447 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
