Crews battle Saturday night blaze for hours: WFPS

Winnipeg firefighters were busy Saturday night with a house fire in the city’s North River Heights neighbourhood.
According to a city news release, the blaze broke out shortly after 7 p.m. in the 200 block of Cordova Street.
When crews arrived, they saw heavy flames and smoke coming from the building. Those who lived there managed to get out before firefighters arrived and no one was injured.
After more than three-and-a-half hours, the fire was declared under control around 10:43 p.m.
The cause is under investigation.
