Saturday morning marked the first annual Mark Scheifele Hockey Camp in support of KidSport Winnipeg.
The two-day event aims to help the next generation of young hockey players grow their skills and elevate their game. The event is being hosted at Gateway Arena and is open to boys and girls between five and 12.
Children will get on-ice training, off-ice sessions, a question and answer period and an autograph session from Scheifele.
KidSport, a national charity, works to ensure that no child is left on the sidelines and is given the opportunity to experience the benefits of organized sports.
