An investigation has been launched after Flin Flon RCMP were tipped off that money has been stolen within a local financial institution.
On Feb. 22, 2014, RCMP received intelligence that an employee at a local bank had embezzled a significant amount of money.
RCMP say an internal theft has been confirmed.
Charges have not yet been laid and the full amount of money embezzled is still not known.
A full audit is being completed while the investigation is ongoing.
