Flood watches and warnings are in effect for many parts of southern Manitoba.
Water levels are forecast to rise on Lake Manitoba and Lake Winnipeg.
The province has opened water control structures to allow the most outflow possible on both lakes.
Flood warnings continue for the Assiniboine River from the Shellmouth Dam to Brandon.
A high water advisory also remains in place along the Saskatchewan and Red Rivers.
In Winnipeg, the province says the Red River floodway could be operated to reduce the risk of basements flooding, depending on the weather.
Sandbags available for cottagers
Some overland flooding on Nutimik Lake may affect some roads and limit access to cottages, the provincial government warned.
There are reports of boat houses flooding, and some sandbagging is underway.
Cottagers can call the Seven Sisters District Office at 204-348-4004 for more information.
