WINNIPEG -- The Manitoba Green Party is getting support from federal leader Elizabeth May in the final days of the provincial election campaign.
May is visiting Winnipeg and holding a rally in a constituency where the Greens hope to capture their first provincial seat on Tuesday.
She notes that she is the only federal party leader to have visited Manitoba during the campaign and predicts it will be a breakout election for the Greens.
May is campaigning with provincial Green leader James Beddome, as well as with David Nickarz, candidate for the riding of Winnipeg Wolseley.
The Greens have high hopes for the riding, where Beddome finished second in the last election.
