A handful of people want to stop development on the old Grace Hospital site over parking concerns.
The Old Grace Housing Co-operative is planning a 60-unit residential building on the vacant property on Evanson Street.
Old Grace has been granted a variance, allowing no visitor parking and only 29 parking spaces instead of the required 72 spots for a project of this size.
Those opposed to the project say the lack of parking will clog up neighbourhood streets.
Old Grace expects many of the building's residents will walk, bike take the bus and share cars.
The matter is scheduled for debate at the appeal committee Thursday.
