Stonewall RCMP are investigating a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 7 Saturday afternoon.
Paramedics were called to the scene around 1:00 p.m. Police officers had stopped on the highway to check on the well-being of people in a Chevy Impala that had gone into the ditch. A Pontiac Montana van going south hit the back of the police vehicle that had emergency equipment activated.
The driver of the van suffered minor injuries. Other vehicles attempted to avoid the crash, which sent a Chevy Malibu into the ditch.
Police consider blowing snow and poor visibility factors in the crash.
