Creators of the "The Bachelorette Canada" held a casting call in Winnipeg.

Pressure was on as potential bachelors were interviewed and filmed Sunday afternoon. A Canada-wide search is underway to find the perfect bachelors to match up with their bachelorette this spring.

About a dozen men attended the casting call held at the Millennium Library.

Bachelors should ideally be between 25 and 34 years of age.

"I would say outgoing, outgoingness, great personalities. Somebody who likes adventure. Somebody who's looking for long-lasting friendships," said casting director Shelly Anthis.

The show will be filmed in April and May.

The group is looking to submit up to 30 potential bachelors form Manitoba to the producers.

Men interested can email the local casting director up until Tuesday at bachelorscasting@gmail.com.
