A Steinbach school has sunk just over $40 million into a big expansion, and they're finally ready for the big reveal.
The Steinbach Regional Secondary School has added an extra 105,000 square feet. The facility will now be able to accommodate a maximum of 2000 students.
Included in the expansion are more opportunities for vocational training, geo-thermal energy, and outdoor learning spaces. There's also an added day care, salon, and cafe.
Premier Greg Selinger will take part in the grand opening on school grounds Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
