Two events this weekend gave chocoholics in Winnipeg ample opportunity to indulge their cravings.
Sunday was the last day of the Ciao Chocolatefest at The Forks. Participants got to try samples of chocolate from vendors at The Forks market, as well as take park in cooking demos and make crafts.
The Ciao Chocolatefest has been going on all through April at locations around the city and will continue until April 30.
The first annual Chocoholics Buffet was held Saturday night at The Gates on Roblin. The event showcased chocolate donated by local pastry chefs and chocolate makers.
Net ticket sale proceeds were donated to the United Way. The fundriasing goal was $10,000 to $15,000.
