Toronto bats come alive in Blue Jays 11-8 win over Royals in Game 3 of ALCS

TORONTO - Troy Tulowitzki, Josh Donaldson and Ryan Goins homered as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Kansas City Royals 11-8 in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series.

Kansas City now holds a 2-1 series lead.

Marcus Stroman earned the win for Toronto, limiting the Royals to four runs on 11 hits over six and a third innings.

Royals ace Johnny Cueto struggled, giving up six hits and eight runs in two innings of work.

The Royals won 5-0 and 6-3 in Kansas City, handcuffing the Jays' powerful offence.

That changed in Game 3 in the friendly confines of the Roger Centre in front of a loud sellout crowd of 49,751.
