Water bus back on Winnipeg rivers after three year hiatus

For the first time since 2011, people who wish to travel Winnipeg waterways have the water bus as an option on the Red and Assiniboine Rivers.

The service’s operator says the gap in service came as a result of high water levels.

Beginning Saturday, service is provided at five docks in the city.

The Hugo, the Manitoba Legislative Building, The Forks and The Exchange District and Norwood Grove.

The fare is $3.50 and reservations are not required.
