On Sunday, the Winnipeg Police Service held their annual auction of unclaimed goods.
Items up for grabs included musical instruments, sporting equipment, jewellery and tools.
There was no shortage of bargain hunters looking for deals.
“I did a quick look around in the morning,” said Ziyad Harb, “I circled what I liked. If the price is right I will buy it.”
Proceeds from the auction go into city coffers.
“The money goes to the City of Winnipeg,” said auction supervisor Brent Schmitt, “The police to hopefully hire more officers.”
There were more than 260 items up for grabs.
