Officers have charged a suspect in connection with a number of fires in Winnipeg on July 22.
Police arrested a suspect at the scene of a garage fire in the 200 block of Chalmers Avenue on Sunday.
Other fires were reported on Talbot Avenue, William Newton Avenue and Johnson Avenue.
Darren Bittern, 18, faces multiple charges, including arson – disregard for human life, along with six counts of arson – damage to property, said police.
