30-year-old man dies from stabbing injuries, family says

The family of a man who was involved in one of two stabbing incidents in the North End Saturday morning has confirmed that he has died from his injuries.

Police aren't releasing the name, but family members say 30-year-old Michael James Kieth Flett passed away Saturday afternoon.

Police were called to the 400 block of Manitoba Avenue around 4:30 a.m. They found a man suffering apparent stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition.

In a separate incident two men were found with apparent stab wounds in the 400 block of Pritchard Avenue around 2:15 a.m. Both were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

One of the victims, John James Allan Lund, has since died of his injuries.
