An international recruiting service has filed a lawsuit in Manitoba court against McDonald’s Canada.

Actyl Group is suing McDonald’s for breach of contract.

The lawsuit follows sharp criticism of the fast food giant's use of the temporary foreign worker program. In April its use of the federal jobs initiative was put on hold.

Actyl claims that led to contracts being breached. They said halting the temporary foreign worker program harms the economy.

None of the claims have been proven in court.
