It is the night Winnipeg Jets fans have been waiting 19 years to see.
The Jets kick off the 2015 playoffs in Anaheim in a battle between the number one and number eight-seed Thursday night.
"It's going to be hard hitting and very physical," Ducks forward Patrick Maroon said with a smile.
"We expect nothing less. They are like us with size and skill. It's the playoffs" Jets defenceman Mark Stuart added.
The Jets lost all three meetings with the Ducks this season and may be without Mathieu Perreault, who is trying to battle through a lower body injury.
Perreault skated briefly at the end of practice.
Puck drops at 9:30 p.m. Winnipeg time on April 16.
