Arson unit investigating after semi-trailer fire kills 44-year-old man

One man is dead after a fire on Winnipeg's Logan Avenue Tuesday and the arson unit is investigating.

Crews responded the call of a semi-trailer on fire around 2:15 p.m. July 8. They were sent to a parking lot in the area of Logan Avenue and Lizzie Street.

A 44-year-old man was inside the trailer as it burned. Paramedics took him to hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police have not released the man's name.
