A fire tore through a home on Beverley Street Monday morning.

Fire crews were called around 9:15 a.m. for a report of a fire in the 700 block of Beverley Street. When they arrived, they saw flames shooting out of the windows of the two storey building.

As of right now, fire crews don’t know what caused the fire or what the cost of damages will be. “It looks like the fire was extensive,” said platoon chief Barry Evans.

Evans said it appears no one was home at the time of the fire. There are no reported injuries.
