The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Transit have a new strategy to get ticket holders to Investors Group Field in time for kick-off on game days.

They are adding 90 additional busses to the mix and lanes on some roadways will be dedicated to use by transit vehicles.

The team says the changes will help transit move 12-thousand people to the stadium.

85-hundred used the service for the team’s opening exhibition game at the stadium.

They also announced they will be adding more Park and Ride locations along Pembina Highway and the Winnipeg Police Service will be at key intersections coordinating traffic.

The number of parking attendants at the stadium will double and the team is adding an additional 250 bicycle valet spots.

The new plan will get its first test run Saturday night when 31-thousand fans are expected at the stadium for a concert by country-pop star Taylor Swift.
