City names Waverley underpass as infrastructure priority

The city has some good news for drivers who find themselves stuck at the rail crossing on Waverly Street.

A Waverley Street underpass has been named as one of six infrastructure priorities recommended for intergovernmental funding through the Building Canada Fund.

Other projects include replacing the Louise Bridge, extending the William Clement Parkway from Grant to Wilkes and a Marion Street underpass.

The mayor's executive policy committee will consider the projects Wednesday.
