Splash pads have proven popular among Winnipeg children and parents, but what about one for dogs?
The Kilcona Park Dog Club in Winnipeg wants to establish what it calls Canada’s first dog splash pad by 2017.
The plan also calls for a washing area and drinking water system for the dogs.
The organization is seeking approval from the city to fundraise for the splash pad project.
The city recently approved $20,000 dollars for other improvements at the dog park.
