A special concert is in the works to celebrate the life of a well-known social activist.
Nick Ternette dedicated his life to helping others and his friends are hoping to carry on that legacy.

Ternette's long-time friend, Juno award winning artist Fred Penner is set to headline the concert and will be joined by local artists at the West End Cultural Centre on Sunday April 7 at 1 p.m.
Admission is free but donations will be collected for a memorial fund set up to carry on Ternette's social justice work.
