Ontario Provincial Police said two people died in a collision on Highway 17, about 50 kilometres east of Kenora, on Nov. 12.
A Buick was headed westbound on the highway when it lost control and crossed into the path of an eastbound Dodge Caravan, said OPP.
The driver and passenger in the Buick died from the collision.
Officers identified the driver as John Marshalok, 75, and passenger Irene Marshalok, 71.
The driver of the Caravan was treated and released.
The OPP closed the highway for several hours while they investigated, but the road has since reopened.
