Fire crews and city police were called to a fire at 547 Templeton Avenue early Friday morning.
The call came in around 4:26 a.m. reporting an RV on fire in a driveway. The blaze woke up neighbours in the area.
"At 4 a.m. there was a car horn blaring loudly outside my home," witness Heidi Streilein wrote in an email. "I was wondering what the noise was, but once I looked out my window I saw my neighbour across the streets trailer was light up in flames. Fire fighters came and luckily everyone was safe and got out in time.”
Police say when they arrived on scene the fire had begun to spread to the nearby home.
Emergency crews are still on scene.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire or estimated damages.
