Performers from a wide variety of ethnic groups will help kick off Manitoba’s biggest cultural festival at The Forks on Saturday.
The Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Folklorama is holding a show on the Scotiabank Stage beginning at 4:00 p.m. The evening begins with family friendly fun including activities for kids, giveaways and an ethnic market.
The main stage show at 6:00 p.m. features different cultural performing groups, to give audience members a taste of what they can find inside the individual pavilions during the festival. CTV’s ConsumerWatch reporter Karen Rocznik will co-host the main stage event with Chrissy Troy from 103.1 Virgin Radio
The evening will wrap up with a fireworks display at 10:45 p.m.
